"It's a funny old game." So someone said some moons ago in another time and
place.  Kris Commons who writes his own columns, a true Nottingham born lad
and totally 100% Nottingham Forest fan appears to be heading for Derby?

Perhaps people should think before they open their mouths?

Wasn't it Kris himself who gave us a year and stated quite openly that his
stay here at Nottingham Forest was dependant on us going up? Well Nottingham
Forest did that  and Kris is talking with another club.

It really doesn't matter what team a player goes to despite rivalries. What
really does matter that if someone says something to the press that they
remember what they said and follow up accordingly and qualify it.

Of course all of this in mere conjecture and it may even be that Kris has no
intention of moving on to Derby but wait. Derby have it as an official
statement that Kris is talking with Derby County so does it have substance?
