This story was one of the most interesting from many viewpoints as regards the rebuilding of Nottingham Forest as a Championship football club. Many Forum's picked this story up and as the news machine picked up pace the NEP clearly stated from an unknown source that it was indeed untrue?
Who are we talking about? 'Chiraag Paul' from Calcutta.
At £1,500 a week and with Chelsea apparently interested, (Others too so we are told) the story then took a dive.
This was the story that many people targeted for information:
With Mousi in from France and scouts apparently looking everywhere and with Colin Calderwood with no less than 34 players in pre season training, with lot's of other options in the near future. Clearly something has changed for our club.
If and it is a big if. We can nail as many games as we have potential in getting very good quality players in who have been vetted.
This should prove to be a very interesting season indeed.
On Chiraag Paul? It would be an England first and we know how the land lies as regards Forest trying out new things and testing the water before anyone else.
