After being murdered at the hands of Derby and then afterwards lots of bleating about who pushed who we find Shorey has left too.

January is certainly an odd month for any Forest squad. Always a hatful of names, always an empty basket when returning home. There is a huge game on the horizon this coming week and would perhaps be better to concentrate on that affair than any other residing up the A52.  

Newcastle all of a sudden looks a daunting prospect despite our recent form which capitulated like a dog having its tummy scratched on Saturday, we'd better be up for that.

A draw would not be a bad result but many of thought that about Derby too. A loss and with other teams catching up we could soon end up in that pit of eventuality called the playoff zone.

Nobody anticipated what has happened in the first portion of this season.
